Venor is proud to partner with Ditech Testing, a recognized leader in propane cylinder and tank refurbishing and re-certification, in their search for a Credit Manager. Known for their commitment to innovation, exceptional customer service, and the fastest turnaround times in the industry, Ditech continues to set the standard in their field.

In 2024, Ditech Testing was acquired by Manchester Tank, a division of the McWane Group of Companies. Based at the Scoudouc, NB head office, this newly created role will oversee credit management for both Manchester Tank and Ditech Testing, reporting directly to the Division’s Director of Credit.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced credit professional to make a meaningful impact in a collaborative, fast-paced North American environment.

Position Overview

Ditech is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Manager to join their team. Reporting to Director, Credit this role is responsible for evaluating credit data, establishing credit limits and terms, monitoring customer accounts, and managing collections to ensure efficient credit operations and strong customer relationships.

The successful candidate will bring strong analytical and communication skills, a solid background in credit management, and the ability to lead with professionalism and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data and credit reports to assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
  • Ensure compliance with company credit policy and complete denied party screenings.
  • Approve credit limits and payment terms based on customer financials and payment history.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are received on time and resolve any credit-related disputes.
  • Liaise with customers, sales, and customer service to support effective credit and collections processes.
  • Prepare and present credit risk assessments and reports to senior leadership.
  • Supervise credit department staff and support professional development within the team.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit processes and systems.

Requirements

  • Experience as a Credit Manager or in a similar role in a B2B environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of credit laws, global transactions, and risk assessment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft D365 and/or Syspro ERP is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to travel domestically and to the US periodically.
  • Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken) is preferred but not required.
