Job summary

Choice Electrical Supply in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, seeks a friendly, motivated sales associate to join our daytime, Monday-to-Friday team. You will help customers find products, process payments and answer questions while delivering excellent service.

Maintain a clean counter, support warehouse and sales colleagues, and stay up-to-date on product lines to drive solutions that satisfy customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales.
• Energetic, service-oriented and customer-focused.
• Organized, efficient and able to handle physical work.
• Good computer skills and comfortable with retail technology.

Responsibilities

Here’s a Typical Day

• When customers come to the counter, greet them in a friendly manner, go find the desired products and process the payment.
• Answer a wide range of questions, suggest complementary or alternative products as needed.
• Answer phone calls in a professional manner and redirect them if necessary.
• Keep the counter clean and organized to optimize the customer experience, as well as to provide effective marketing.
• Provide assistance to warehouse or sales personnel when needed.
• Maintain skills and knowledge of product lines and systems used.
