Job summary

Wolseley Canada is seeking a Counter Sales representative to be the first point of contact for walk-in customers, delivering product knowledge and exceptional service in a fast-paced wholesale setting.

You will respond to inquiries in person, by phone or email, prepare quotations, research products, verify availability, and help maintain stock. Local HVAC/Plumbing knowledge is a plus, with competitive pay and benefits in Ontario.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or customer service experience in wholesale or distribution.
• Local HVAC/Plumbing knowledge will be an asset.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prompt product knowledge and information to customers in-person, by phone or email.
• Prepare small order quotations on urgent contracting jobs.
• Perform product research in catalogs and online.
• Verify items are available and scheduled as ordered.
• Build positive relationships with customers and associates.
• Assist in warehouse duties as needed.
