Job summary

Wolseley Canada is hiring a counter sales associate to support customers at the warehouse counter. You will respond to inquiries, provide product knowledge, and ensure items are in stock for timely orders.

As the first contact, you’ll build relationships, process orders, and assist in the warehouse when needed. Prior wholesale or distribution sales and HVAC/plumbing knowledge are assets; Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous technical experience in sales or customer service in wholesale or distribution is required.
• Order picking and forklift/cherry picker experience is preferred.
• Local HVAC and plumbing knowledge is an asset.
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office required.
• Experience with AS400 is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders from warehouse for customers at the counter.
• Be the first point of contact, offering product knowledge to customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries in person, by phone, or email.
• Verify items are available for customers as ordered and scheduled.
• Build positive relationships with customers and associates.
• Maintain stock of the counter area and assist in the warehouse if needed.
