Job summary

Bartle & Gibson is seeking a customer service oriented individual for our Yellowknife location. You will assist customers at the counter and over the phone, process orders, source materials when unavailable, and help maintain a clean, organized sales floor.

The role emphasizes relationship building, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment serving Western Canada clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing, Electrical or Heating are considered an asset.
• Knowledge of the Plumbing, Electrical and Heating industry would be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Offering exceptional customer service at our counter and over the phone.
• Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders.
• Processing orders in the system.
• Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock.
• Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.
• Handling returns as required.
• Keeping counter and sales area clean.
• Merchandising and showcasing product.
• Other duties as required.

• Proven ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a fast-paced work environment

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing, Electrical or Heating are considered an asset
• Knowledge of the Plumbing, Electrical and Heating industry or a background in plumbing products would be considered an asset
