Job summary

Bartle & Gibson Co. in Prince George, BC is hiring at our Massey Dr location. We’re seeking candidates to provide exceptional customer service at the counter and over the phone.

You will respond to inquiries, process orders, source materials when out of stock, and maintain strong customer relationships. Training is provided to ensure product knowledge. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; plumbing/electrical/heating knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing, Electrical or Heating are assets.
• Knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical and Heating industry is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional customer service at counter and by phone.
• Respond to inquiries and process orders.
• Process orders in the system.
• Source materials for customers when not in stock.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
• Handling returns as required.
• Keep counter and sales area clean.
• Merchandise and showcase products.

• Offering exceptional customer service at our counter and over the phone
• Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders
• Processing orders in the system
• Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
• Consistent training and understanding of current products
• Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
• Handling returns as required
• Keeping counter and sales area clean
• Merchandising and showcasing product
• Other duties as required

• Ability to develop long-term relationships and generate referrals from your customers

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
