Job summary

MNP LLP is seeking a Regional Human Capital Coordinator in Calgary to support talent acquisition, onboarding, and HR operations. You will coordinate interviews, assist with paperwork, manage the ATS, and help maintain HR data accuracy in payroll and HRIS systems.

The role emphasizes a collaborative culture with opportunities to contribute to learning programs, performance reviews, and compensation processes while traveling as needed to support regional needs.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business or a related field is preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years of HR experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication and active listening skills to support team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and partner effectively with team members, leaders, and external contacts.
  • High emotional intelligence and professionalism, with the ability to handle confidential information discreetly.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer human capital activities including total rewards, learning and development, recruitment and performance management.
  • Assist with recruitment and selection, including setting up interviews, conducting phone screens, completing reference checks, and preparing job offers.
  • Assist with preparing paperwork and managing departures as appropriate.
  • Contribute to the ongoing management of the recruitment database; post jobs, update postings, and manage candidates through the applicant tracking system.
  • Utilize acquisition and social media platforms to build talent pool.
  • Lead, coordinate and deliver orientation and manage onboarding logistics.
  • Manage team member data records including payroll and HRIS updates.
  • Conduct regular Human Capital compliance audits such as employee terms, payroll, time entry, and performance management.
  • Complete administration of compensation, regional promotions, transfers and annual performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate learning and development programs including on-site logistics, equipment, catering, registration and course materials.
  • Prepare, review and modify templates, letters, reports, PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel workbooks and other correspondence.
  • Respond to inquiries; educate on self-service options and act as a liaison between leadership and staff.
  • Support and implement firm policies and guidelines as required.
  • Submit payroll transactions and provide support to payroll teams to manage payroll issues.
  • Maintain accurate filing of HR correspondence, invoices, receipts and office records.
  • Contribute to development of new ideas to improve work processes.
  • Maintain flexibility to travel as necessary.

Skills and Experience
