Job summary

Princess Cruises and Holland America Line seeks a Cook, Line for Holland America Dawson City Inn to prepare dishes per recipes in a high-energy kitchen. The role requires reliability and a positive attitude while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.

This seasonal full-time position offers housing on site where available and opportunities to build culinary skills. Responsibilities include stocking workstations, maintaining product quality, and contributing to exceptional guest

• Food preparation and stocking workstation to ensure success for business demands.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all work and storage spaces.
• Stock kitchen, organize products, inspect food quality.
• Completing food safety protocols and logs with assistance and direction from management.
• Contribute effectively to a positive employee and guest experience while maintaining a professional attitude and appearance.

REQUIREMENTS

• Working knowledge of commercial kitchen operations.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and take direction well.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while adapting to external influences.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
• Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines, and safety standards, both at work and in housing (if applicable).
• Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
