Holland America Dawson City Inn seeks a Maintenance Helper/Gardener for seasonal full-time work in Dawson City, Yukon. You will care for the hotel grounds and facilities, ensuring guests enjoy a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in a remote setting.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains the physical conditions of the hotel property in a cost-effective manner to ensure that guests receive a clean, attractive, and secure place to stay while providing friendly and attentive service.
• Maintain consistent standards of service throughout the property.
• Maintain working areas safe and functional for employees as well.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
• Must be willing to be part of our random alcohol and drug testing program
• Must be able to legally work in Canada

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
