Job summary

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food Safety Certificate.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration.
  • High attention to detail in food quality and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced kitchen environment and adapt to menu changes.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Chinese and Cantonese dishes according to the restaurant’s recipes and standards, ensuring high quality and consistent presentation.
  • Assist in preparing menu items including soups, seafood, chicken, beef, pork, rice, chow mein, and hot pot dishes.
  • Adapt dishes for customers with dietary restrictions or special requests, under the chef’s guidance.
  • Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to maintain efficient service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory and assist in ordering food supplies when needed.
  • Supervise and support junior kitchen staff to maintain effective kitchen operations.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while contributing to a family-friendly kitchen culture.
