Job summary

Thermon Canada is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee the daily Control Panel Shop operations, coordinating workflow, supervising staff, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery of products. The role emphasizes leadership, process improvements, and collaboration with Purchasing and Engineering.

The position requires a minimum five years in a Control Panel Shop and two years in a supervisory role, with Electrical Journeyman certification being advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience in a Control Panel Shop environment.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a supervisor.
• Electrical Journeyman certification is an advantage.
• Computer skills – MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Review and distribute work in the Panel Shop.
• Coordinate with Purchasing on component requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering on changes.
• Monitor and improve workflow continually.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing standards and inspections.
• Monitor quality of product being produced and train staff as needed.
• Coordinate with Testing/Quality for panel testing.
• Ensure production paperwork is monitored, controlled and complete.
• Be available for overtime during week and weekends.
• Coordinate with production and planning to ensure timely delivery.
