Job summary

FPS Food Process Solutions Corporation is seeking a motivated Control Panel Assembler to join our Plant Operations team in Canada. You will wire electrical components into control panels used across manufacturing facilities, reading blueprints and schematics to ensure precise assembly.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of hands-on electrical assembly experience, is skilled with power tools, and works well in a team with a focus on quality, safety, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with electrical assembly.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Familiar with power tools.
• Able to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Wire panels with relays, busbars, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, CTs, PTs, meters, terminals, switches.
• Perform tasks involving physical labour and operate hand and power tools.
• Assembly of wiring and electrical components, using hand and power tools as needed.
• Quality control of products.
• Other general operational duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Position Scope

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Control Panel Assembler to join our Plant Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for wiring electrical components into control panels used across our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Perform wiring in panels with all kinds of electrical components, e.g. relays, busbars, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, CTs, PTs, meters, terminals, switches, etc.
• Perform tasks involving physical labour and operate hand and power tools
• Assembly of wiring and electrical components, using hand and power tools as needed
• Quality control of products
• Other general operational duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Abilities

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with electrical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
