Job summary

Food Process Solutions is seeking a motivated Control Panel Assembler to join our Plant Operations team in Canada. You will wire electrical components into control panels used across our manufacturing facilities and ensure quality across all assemblies.

The role requires at least 2 years of hands-on electrical assembly experience, ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with power tools. You will work in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment ensuring on-time delivery and customer

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with electrical assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Familiar with power tools.
  • A teamplayer with a positive attitude.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Able to read and understand engineering assembling drawings.
  • Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of safe working procedures and practices.
  • Able to effectively communicate and problem-solve with supervisors and team members.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Perform wiring in panels with all kinds of electrical components, e.g. relays, busbars, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, CTs, PTs, meters, terminals, switches, etc.
  • Perform tasks involving physical labour and operate hand and power tools
  • Assembly of wiring and electrical components, using hand and power tools as needed
  • Quality control of products
  • Other general operational duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Position Scope

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Control Panel Assembler to join our Plant Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for wiring electrical components into control panels used across our manufacturing facilities.

  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints and wiring diagrams
  • Perform wiring in panels with all kinds of electrical components, e.g. relays, busbars, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, CTs, PTs, meters, terminals, switches, etc.
