The ideal candidate has a law degree or equivalent in contract management/construction law, 7+ years in construction contracts, and proven negotiation and multi-contract oversight capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of contract management experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC and standard contract forms.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and sharp Commercial Contracts Manager to oversee and safeguard contractual interests for their construction projects across the Northern Cape region. This role is critical in managing all aspects of contracts, from tender preparation and negotiation to contract administration and dispute resolution. You will ensure that all agreements are legally sound, commercially viable, and fully compliant with relevant regulations, protecting the company's financial and operational objectives. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of construction law, excellent negotiation skills, and a meticulous approach to contract management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the tender process, including preparation, submission, and evaluation of bids.
