Indotronix Avani Group seeks a Contract Conformance Specialist IV for the Sunrise Expansion Program in Calgary, AB or Edmonton, AB. This is a 1-year contract with a field-based rotation schedule and an initial two‑month in-office training period to learn systems.

Following training, the role mobilizes to site with 12‑hour days and a 60‑hour week cadence, overseeing contracting activities across capital projects and ensuring compliance and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 10+ years managing major Engineering & Construction contracts.
• Expertise in interpreting and administering contractual terms.

Responsibilities

• Execute project execution contract strategy.
• Prepare RFX documents and draft RFP language.
• Manage RFP issuance, evaluation, and review processes.
• Lead contract negotiations during bidding and formation phases.
• Draft and prepare contract exhibits and technical language.
• Collaborate with SCM, project teams, and legal representatives.
• Review contractor submissions and invoices for compliance.
• Oversee change order process and contract close‑out procedures.
• Maintain documentation, logs, agendas, and communication plans.
• Provide training on contract conformance to internal and external personnel.
• Deliver updates to management on contractual requirements.

Position Overview

The CCS is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day sourcing and field conformance activities for all contractual arrangements associated with assigned capital projects. This role manages all phases of contract administration, documentation, and communications, ensuring obligations are met and issues resolved proactively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Construction, or Law (or equivalent experience)
• 10+ years managing major Engineering & Construction contracts (formation, field management, sourcing, negotiations)
• Expertise in interpreting and administering contractual terms and conditions
• Strong stakeholder engagement and cross‑department collaboration skills
• Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and problem‑solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, Oracle, and SharePoint
