Our talented and motivated Continuous Improvement team seeks an additional member as a Manager of Continuous Improvement . Reporting to the Director of Continuous Improvement , the incumbent will be accountable for identifying key areas for improvement and implementing initiatives and solutions to optimize the performance of systems.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, quality, and efficiency within bakery and pastry production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that support operational excellence.
  • Facilitate training and workshops to promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Utilize data analysis and performance metrics to drive decision-making processes.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvements and work with leadership to implement problem-solving strategies to mitigate / control losses and foster a continuous improvement environment.
  • Generate and submit all internal and external reports, reviews, and other documentation as required. Administer and maintain project reporting / recording systems to ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements.
  • Initiate and conduct industry trends and best practice analysis. Provide findings, solutions, coaching, and communicate shared learnings to remain competitive and innovative.

Our ideal candidate will have :

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in continuous improvement or proven track record in commercial bakery and / or pastry (or comparable food manufacturing facilities).
  • Strong critical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A systematic and proactive approach to learning new techniques and methodologies.
  • Strong aptitude for developing relationships, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in teams.
