Field Coordinator - Bridge & Road Infrastructure Projects

Job summary

EllisDon is seeking a Field Coordinator to support project planning and field execution on infrastructure projects in Ontario. You will work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent on inspections, layout, and field tasks, coordinating with owners, contract admins, contractors and engineers.

You will prepare and issue RFIs, monitor schedules, manage shop drawings, and participate in quality control and progress tracking across the site.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of infrastructure experience on bridge/road/culvert projects.
• Working knowledge of scheduling and project management software.
• Ability to work effectively within a team on project goals.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Project Manager and Superintendent in project planning, inspections, layout, and other field work.
• Work alongside and regularly communicate with owners, contract administrators, contractors and engineers.
• Prepare and issue temporary access, structure design, and provide sign-off of QVE inspections.
• Review, interpret and update construction schedules and projections and maintain accurate and up-to-date shop drawings.
• Create and issue RFIs, process notices of change, and design checks.
• Conduct quality control activities, site layout, inspection programs and updating of construction progress records
• Other tasks as required by project
