Job summary

DBNC Group in Mississauga is seeking a Construction Purchasing & Procurement Coordinator to join our growing team. You will source construction materials, negotiate pricing, and coordinate deliveries to keep projects moving, with a focus on supplier relationships and timely orders.

The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years in construction purchasing or related roles, strong communication skills, and comfort negotiating and solving issues when plans change.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in construction, purchasing, procurement, estimating, or project coordination.
• Experience dealing with construction suppliers and vendors.
• Knowledge of construction materials and building products.
• Experience obtaining and comparing supplier quotes.
• Experience negotiating pricing and tracking orders.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills with suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase construction materials, building supplies, equipment, tools, and related products.
• Communicate with suppliers, vendors, manufacturers, and subcontractors.
• Request, obtain, and compare supplier quotes.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery dates, payment terms, and purchasing conditions.
• Coordinate material purchases with project requirements and timelines.
• Track purchase orders, deliveries, backorders, and outstanding materials.
• Identify and resolve late deliveries, shortages, or supplier issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and expand the supplier network.
