Job description

Procurement & Negotiation Development Program – Construction

DBNC Group | Mississauga, Ontario | $25/hour | Full-Time, Permanent

Are you confident on the phone, commercially minded, and good at getting people to say yes?

DBNC Group is looking for an ambitious, articulate, and analytical individual to develop into a construction procurement professional.

This is an opportunity to build a career in construction purchasing, supplier negotiations, cost analysis, and strategic sourcing—even if you haven't worked in procurement before.

You'll learn how to negotiate with suppliers, compare quotations, evaluate purchasing options, identify cost-saving opportunities, and help our construction operations obtain the best value for their money.

We're looking for someone who can combine two important strengths: the confidence to pick up the phone and negotiate, and the analytical ability to evaluate the numbers and make sound purchasing decisions.

Who should apply?

  • Business, commerce, engineering, supply chain, or operations graduates.
  • Candidates with strong spoken and written English.
  • Confident communicators who enjoy professional telephone conversations.
  • People who are comfortable asking questions, challenging prices, and following up.
  • Analytical thinkers who enjoy comparing options and solving problems.
  • Candidates with experience in sales, customer service, account management, or other customer-facing roles.

Construction or procurement experience is an asset, but we are prepared to train the right person.

This is not a data-entry or purchasing-administration role. You'll develop practical commercial skills by working with suppliers, evaluating prices, negotiating terms, and supporting real construction purchasing decisions.

If you're articulate, commercially curious, confident with people, and comfortable working with numbers, we'd like to meet you.

Join DBNC Group and build a career where your communication skills and analytical ability can translate into measurable business results.
