Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will play a key part in monitoring and evaluating construction projects to ensure compliance with design plans, industry standards, and safety regulations. You will work closely with contractors, engineers, and government agencies to uphold quality and regulatory requirements.

What a day at EXP has in store for you
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure construction activities comply with approved plans, specifications, and regulations.
  • Monitor construction progress and document findings through reports, photographs, and field notes.
  • Identify and report deficiencies, safety concerns, or deviations from project requirements.
  • Perform material testing and verify that materials used meet project specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal construction codes and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contract documents to confirm project alignment.
  • Conduct inspections for grading, drainage, concrete, asphalt, utilities, and structural elements.
  • Document daily activities, including work completed, weather conditions, and site challenges.
  • Participate in progress meetings and provide recommendations for improving construction quality and efficiency.
What your experience looks like
