Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring a Concierge Security Guard to engage with visitors, manage access, and patrol facilities such as offices, hotels, and shopping centers. You will perform routine security tasks, assist with emergencies, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining a safe environment.

This full-time role includes shift coverage from 0000 to 0800, with opportunities for part-time work and career development through GardaWorld Academy, plus uniform provided at no cost.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification - Required
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Perform computer tasks
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Answer questions in person or by phone

As a Concierge Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Shift Timings: Monday to Friday 0000-0800 hours (Full Time)
