Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Concierge Security Guard for a site in the Greater Hamilton Region. The role emphasizes customer service as you engage with visitors, check IDs, and guide people throughout shifts in office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

You will perform access control, patrols, incident reporting, and coordination with emergency teams, while maintaining a professional presence and assisting with basic computer tasks.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid security license.
• First aid certification is required.
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Perform computer tasks.
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
