Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Concierge Security Guard for our Barrie, Ontario location. You will engage with visitors, perform access control, and patrol premises with a focus on customer service. The role requires a valid security license and first aid cert, with opportunities for growth.

You will work Fridays and Saturdays from 20:00 to 04:00, with full-time and part-time options. GardaWorld provides uniforms and ongoing education through GardaWorld Academy.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Perform computer tasks
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Answer questions in person or by phone

As a Concierge Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Schedule: Fridays & Saturdays (20:00 - 04:00)
