Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Concierge Security Guard for on-site duties in Hamilton, Ontario. You will engage with visitors, monitor access, perform patrols, and respond to incidents while maintaining a high level of customer service.

The role emphasizes helping people feel secure, with training provided through GardaWorld Academy and opportunities for career growth across full-time and part-time shifts. Uniforms are supplied.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Holds a valid security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist visitors, check identification, and guide visitors.
• Manage access control for facilities.
• Conduct foot patrols to identify risks and report findings.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Perform computer tasks as required.
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.

As a Concierge Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Schedule: Temporary Monday to Friday 15:00-23:00

Responsibilities for Concierge Security Guard

• Customer service duties like welcome, check identification, and guide visitors


• Manage access control


• Conduct foot patrols to identify potential risks


• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs


• Perform computer tasks


• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams


• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns


• Answer questions in person or by phone

Qualifications for Concierge Security Guard
