Job summary

GardaWorld in Kitchener, Ontario seeks a Concierge Security Guard to deliver top-tier customer service across office towers, hotels and retail spaces. Schedule: Fridays and Saturdays 2230-0630.

GardaWorld offers full-time and part-time roles and uniforms provided. You will welcome visitors, control access, patrol for risks, report maintenance needs, perform computer tasks, and coordinate with emergency teams.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Proficient in basic phone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, check identification, and guide visitors.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct foot patrols to identify risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Perform computer tasks.
• Address incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
