Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in operations or related supervisory role.
• Journeyman Ticket in Millwright or HET or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office and related software.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for compression operations, including field service activities, shop operations, maintenance programs, and customer support.
• Lead, mentor, and develop employees while fostering accountability and teamwork.
• Manage equipment, personnel, and resources to maximize efficiency and satisfaction.
• Support operation, maintenance, and reliability of compression assets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and ensure service expectations are met.
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvements where needed.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and inventory management.
• Coordinate field, shop, admin, and customer activities for efficient execution.
• Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Provide leadership and oversight for compression operations, including field service activities, shop operations, maintenance programs, and customer support.

• Manage equipment, personnel, and resources to maximize operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of compression equipment and related assets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring service expectations are consistently met.
• Monitor operational performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing improvements where necessary.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, inventory management, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate activities between field, shop, administrative, and customer stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of work.
• Champion Surepoint’s Health, Safety, and Environmental programs while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiencies, and support the continued growth of the business.

What You Need To Succeed

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in operations, service management, shop management, or a related supervisory role.
• Experience in natural gas compression, energy services, industrial operations, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of operational planning, resource allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and managing customer relationships.
• Journeyman Ticket in Millwright, Heavy Equipment Technician (HET), or a combination of education and significant relevant experience in a similar field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
