Job summary

Surepoint Group is seeking an experienced leader to oversee compression operations in Nisku, AB. You will drive field service activities, shop operations, maintenance programs, and customer support while mentoring teams and fostering accountability.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in operations leadership, with experience in natural gas compression or energy services. You will champion safety, plan resources, and help grow the business through strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership in operations, service management, shop management, or related supervisory role.
• Experience in natural gas compression, energy services, or industrial operations.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and performance-management knowledge.
• Journeyman Millwright or HET qualifications or combination thereof.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for compression operations, including field service activities, shop operations, maintenance programs, and customer support.
• Mentor and develop staff while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage equipment, personnel, and resources to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Support operation, maintenance, and reliability of compression equipment and assets.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure service expectations are met.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements; support budgeting and cost control.
• Coordinate field, shop, administrative, and customer activities for efficient execution.
• Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and regulatory compliance.
