Surepoint Group in Nisku, AB is seeking experienced Journeymen Mechanics and Millwrights to join our team for camp and hotel assignments. You will work with compressors and engines in the oil and gas sector, performing overhaul, maintenance, and timely repairs.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ field service work experience

What You’ll Need

• Registered Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic or Millwright
• 3 years’ field service work experience
• Experience with Caterpillar, Superior, Cooper, and Waukesha engines
• Experience in overhaul, maintenance, and repair of Ariel, Dresser Rand, Superior, and Gemini compressors
• Ability to troubleshoot ignition and instrument panels
• Knowledge of package start-up and commissioning
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract
• Ability to work in remote locations and stay in hotels or camps
• Good driving habits
• Ability to work well in a team and mentor junior workers
• Well organized with multitasking skills
• Ability to provide solid work references
