Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in operations leadership, with experience in natural gas compression or energy services. You will champion safety, plan resources, and help grow the business through strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership in operations, service management, shop management, or related supervisory role.
• Experience in natural gas compression, energy services, or industrial operations.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and performance-management knowledge.
• Journeyman Millwright or HET qualifications or combination thereof.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for compression operations, including field service activities, shop operations, maintenance programs, and customer support.
• Mentor and develop staff while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage equipment, personnel, and resources to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Support operation, maintenance, and reliability of compression equipment and assets.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinate activities between field, shop, administrative, and customer stakeholders to ensure efficient execution of work.
• Champion Surepoint's Health, Safety, and Environmental programs while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiencies, and support the continued growth of the business.

What You Need to Succeed

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in operations, service management, shop management, or a related supervisory role.
• Experience in natural gas compression, energy services, industrial operations, or a related industry.
• Strong understanding of operational planning, resource allocation, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.

Demonstrated success leading teams and managing customer relationships.

Journeyman Ticket in Millwright, Heavy Equipment Technician (HET), or a combination of education and significant relevant experience in a similar field.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
