AgeCare Brant in Burlington, ON is hiring a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide resident care per care plans and support residents' needs.

You will monitor care, document information, attend training, assist with onboarding, and follow IPAC policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care to residents.
• Must understand the basics of good sanitation and cleaning techniques and be knowledgeable with respect to the needs of geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Assists in monitoring care to ensure alignment with the care plan and reports findings to supervisor.
• Assists in documenting care information as directed.
• Attends in-service education, staff meetings, and workshops as directed.
• Assists in onboarding new staff as directed.
• Must follow IPAC policies and procedures.
