Job summary

AgeCare Woodhaven in Markham is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate resident care according to established care plans. You will contribute to a safe, dignified environment and support residents, families, and team members as part of a dedicated community.

In this regular, part-time role (0.40 FTE), you’ll monitor care, document observations, participate in in-service education, assist onboarding of new staff, and consistently follow IPAC policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma may be required.
• Knowledge of basic bedside care and sanitation.
• Follows established care plans and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor care to ensure alignment with care plans, report findings.
• Document information pertaining to resident care as directed.
• Attend in-service education, staff meetings and workshops.
• Assist onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
