Job summary

AgeCare in Oshawa, ON, seeks a dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide care per each resident's plan and help maintain a safe, respectful living environment.

You will monitor care, document activities, attend training sessions, and support on-boarding of new staff while following IPAC policies.

This temporary role offers pay of $27.46–$29.49 per hour, health benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• PSW certificate/diploma required or equivalent.
• Understanding of basic sanitation and geriatric care principles.
• Knowledge of IPAC policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents’ care to ensure alignment with care plans.
• Document care activities and report to supervisor.
• Attend in-service trainings, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC policies in all daily tasks.
