Job summary

A supportive home care provider is seeking compassionate Caregivers/Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to provide in-home client care in Oshawa. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and providing companionship. Candidates should hold a Personal Support Worker Certificate or have foreign nursing experience, alongside CPR/First Aid certifications. This part-time role offers a tentative schedule on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at $22.00 per hour.

Job description

In-Home Assisted Living Inc. is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family as Caregivers/Personal Support Workers (PSW's) for our clients in Oshawa. Work setting is within private homes.

As an IHAL employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate, client focused care.

How you will spend your days:

• Basic Meal Preparation
• Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL’s)
• Light Housekeeping (IADL’s vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.)
• Medication Reminders
• Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Responding to emergency situations
• Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

Tentative Schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays 11am-4pm

Success in this role:

• Personal Support Worker Certificate
• Foreign Nurse
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred

Compensation:
