Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to provide compassionate care to residents in our Aurora, Ontario locations. You will follow established care plans and assist with activities of daily living, while observing residents and communicating needs to your supervisor.

You will participate in ongoing education, support new staff onboarding, and uphold IPAC policies to maintain a safe, clean environment for residents, families, and team members.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet vocational standards established by relevant Ontario associations.
• Knowledge of procedures for basic treatments and bedside care.

Responsibilities

• Assists in monitoring care to ensure it aligns with the care plan by observing residents and reporting findings.
• Assists in documenting information pertaining to resident care as directed.
• Attends in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops as directed.
• Assists in onboarding of new staff as directed.
