AgeCare Ltd. is seeking a Personal Support Worker to provide compassionate, resident-centered care in our Ontario communities.

You will follow care plans, monitor residents, report needs to your supervisor, and help maintain a safe, clean environment. The role requires PSW certification, familiarity with Ontario standards, and the ability to document care activities, participate in training, and support onboarding.

Qualifications

• Graduate of PSW Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meets vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meets standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meets standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of procedures for simple treatments and bedside care.
• Understanding sanitation and geriatric needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor care to ensure it aligns with the care plan by observing residents and reporting findings.
• Assist in documenting information pertaining to resident care as directed.
• Attend in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding of new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC policies and procedures.
