Qualifications

• Graduation from a Personal Support Worker certificate or diploma program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.

Responsibilities

• Monitor resident care per the established plan and report findings to supervisor.
• Assist in documenting resident care information as directed.
• Attend in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops.
• Assist in onboarding new staff as directed.
• Follow IPAC (Infection Prevention and Control) policies and procedures.
