Job summary

Optima Living is seeking a Server to provide courteous meal service to residents and guests. You will set up dining areas, ensure cleanliness, and assist with meals, beverages, and special events in a supportive, dignity-focused environment.

Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, you will work within infection control and safety guidelines while maintaining resident comfort and independence. Experience in a residential care setting is an asset.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food services role.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to communicate professionally with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and beverages to residents according to dietary needs and preferences.
• Sets up, cleans and sanitizes dining areas and servery.
• Assists with special events, large orders, and catered functions as needed.
• Interacts with residents to take orders and answer menu questions.
• Prepares and serves beverages and nourishments.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in dining areas.
