Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Kingsville, ON is seeking a part-time Server to join our bright dining room. You will serve meals to residents and guests, set and clear tables, deliver tray service, and help keep the dining and kitchen areas clean.

Preference will be given to those with prior food service experience with seniors. Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods; second language is an asset. VPS screening is required or willing to obtain it upon hire.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service with seniors preferred.
• Must be able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items and stand/walk for most of shift.
• Proficiency in a second language is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required.
• Assist with cleaning of dishware and maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Assist with catering and participate in special occasions and theme events.
• Support orientation and training of new culinary staff.
