Job summary

Optima Living is seeking a Server to provide courteous meal service to residents and guests, set up and maintain dining areas, and ensure cleanliness before, during, and after meals. Reporting to Food Services/Hospitality Manager, you will support person-centered care and uphold resident dignity.

Responsibilities include serving meals per dietary needs, maintaining dining areas, and assisting with events while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food services role is an asset.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices is required.
• Food Safe certification is an asset.
• CPR and First Aid certification is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and beverages to residents according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Set up, clean and sanitize the dining room and servery before and after service.
• Assist with events, large orders and catered functions as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful dining environment for residents and staff.
