Job summary

A leading home health care provider in Ottawa is looking for Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to deliver high-quality at-home care. Responsibilities include providing companionship, monitoring health conditions, and administering medications. The ideal candidate must be licensed with the College of Nurses of Ontario and possess strong problem-solving and communication skills. This part-time role offers a competitive salary of $32.00 per hour and a supportive working environment.

Qualifications

  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
  • Community home care experience preferred.
  • RPNs with Dementia Care Education and Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide meaningful companionship and stimulation to clients with various conditions.
  • Advocate for clients’ needs.
  • Monitor and report any changes to the client’s condition.
  • Administer medication, wound care, vital assessment, liaising with physicians.
  • Deliver thorough nursing care in adherence to the care plan, nursing assessments and client needs.
