Home Care Assistance in Wasaga Beach is seeking dedicated PSW professionals to provide compassionate in-home care to clients in the community. Shifts vary from mornings to evenings and include overnights, with potential live-in opportunities in the future.

The successful candidate will hold a DSW/PSW/SSW certification, a valid First Aid/CPR, a PVSC within six months, a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle, plus reliable references.

Competenze

• DSW/PSW/SSW certification is required.
• Valid First Aid/CPR certificate.
• Police Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months.
• Driver's License and own insured vehicle is mandatory.
• Satisfactory professional references.
• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters.

Mansioni

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, skincare, light meal preparation, feeding) in personal residences or facilities.
• Experience with working Palliative Care.
• Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support.
• Maintaining open communication with client and their family.
• Monitoring care plan and adding documentation with any changes and updates.
• Responding to all emergency situations.
• All other duties, as assigned.

We have 2 PSW vacancy for Community Client in Wasaga Beach area to provide care. Shifts may vary from mornings to evenings to overnights and every other weekend. Possible live in opportunity in future.

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:
