Job summary

Home Care Assistance Barrie is seeking two female PSWs to support residents in a retirement home in Bradford. Shifts are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 am to 11 am at $25.00 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, ensuring safety, and providing companionship according to the care plan. Flexibility to work with seniors, reliability, and a compassionate approach are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Vulnerable Sector Check within last 6 months.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• COVID (not mandatory) and TB proof.
• Access to reliable transportation - G-License and valid insurance.
• Demonstrated working experience with the elderly, knowledgeable with respect to their needs.
• Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with residents, families, and visitors.
• At least 3 years of experience working with our senior population.
