The Role
Leverage resort photo and video content to extend the Big White Ski Resort brand to relevant online communities.
Plan for and represent Big White at events, consumer shows, consumer events, charity functions, etc.
Proactively identify and engage with relevant communities, both offline and online.
Work closely with the marketing team to support specific initiatives: photo shot lists, partner campaigns, news release media, event recaps, brand storytelling, model coordination.
Create shortform content for social media, independently and working with other members of the team.
Comfortable speaking on camera and hosting videos.
Hands-on experience publishing and scheduling social media content across native platforms and social media management tools.
Strong written communication and copywriting skills, with the ability to adapt the brand voice across different platforms and audiences.
Assist with creating and distributing marketing and promotional materials.
Support user-generated content programs by identifying, organizing, securing and sharing guest-created content.
Build relationships with engaged guests, local advocates, season passholders, content creators, families and community partners.
Host or support live social media moments during events, powder days, brand activations, etc.
Represent Big White professionally on and off the hill, always putting guest experience and safety first.
What We’re Looking For
Class 5 Driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools and project management tools.
Experience with basic graphic and video editing, ideally within the Adobe Suite.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with skiing, snowboarding, and mountain culture is considered an asset.
Available for occasional travel.
The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects efficiently.
