Job summary

Sunrise Credit Union is seeking a Branch Manager for Deloraine, MB, to lead daily branch operations and drive community engagement. You will oversee deposits, lending portfolios, and investments while coaching staff to deliver exceptional member service.

The ideal candidate brings a proven leadership record, strong lending experience (commercial, agricultural, mortgage), and a deep understanding of rural communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
• Proven leadership track record.
• Strong lending experience (commercial, agricultural lending, mortgage) and financial advisory services.
• Strategic thinking and decision-making with operational know-how.
• Knowledge of the financial industry, trends and the Credit Union Advantage.
• CUIC Studies or industry education preferred.
• Deep understanding of rural community dynamics and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs daily activities of deposits and loans portfolios, including varied lending and investments.
• Conducts employee performance appraisals and coaches staff.
• Leads staff meetings and oversees operational concerns.
• Maintains Sunrise’s image in the community by supporting events and outreach.
• Drives branch efficiency, ensures security procedures, and adheres to policies.
