FirstOntario Credit Union Limited is seeking a Branch Manager to lead a team in delivering exceptional member experiences while ensuring efficient branch operations.

You will coach staff, drive sales and service excellence, manage budgets, and foster relationships with members and the community. This role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and acommitment to compliance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Hold a post-secondary degree or diploma in business, finance, or economics or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
• Be analytically oriented with strong attention to detail and sales reporting.
• Demonstrate adaptable, organized multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading a team and coaching staff, including a unionized workforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the branch as a high-performing unit focused on member experience and business results.
• Coach and provide feedback to team members to build confidence and growth.
• Drive end-to-end member experiences and build strong relationships with clients.
• Lead efforts to meet short- and long-term financial goals while managing digital/multichannel usage.
• Develop and implement plans to grow 3rd party generated business and consolidate products for new members.
• Maintain operational controls and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Monitor budget and expenses, taking corrective action as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive branch goals and community engagement.
