DGA Careers Inc. is seeking a Commercial Insurance Broker in Laval, Quebec. The role is a permanent full-time position within a hybrid work model (2 days per week in the office).

The broker will manage a producer's book, issue documents, and provide guidance and service to a diverse commercial clientele. Qualifications include a valid AMF Commercial Insurance License and at least 3 years of commercial insurance experience, plus strong negotiation and client-service skills.

Our client, a well-established independent insurance brokerage, is seeking a Commercial Insurance Broker to join its client service team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and servicing a producer's book of business while providing professional guidance and exceptional service to a diverse commercial clientele.

Your Role

As a Commercial Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for:

• Managing and servicing a commercial insurance portfolio;
• Preparing, reviewing, and issuing insurance documents, including quotations, certificates, endorsements, and invoices;
• Working closely with the producer to gather underwriting information and update client files;
• Assisting in the development of marketing strategies and the placement of risks with insurance carriers;
• Processing policy changes, rate revisions, retention activities, and inbound service requests;
• Handling renewals and providing professional advice on coverage options and risk management solutions;
• Responding to client inquiries and delivering exceptional customer service;
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurance partners.
