Job summary

Jacobson Commercial Ltd. is seeking a Commercial Project Coordinator to support project managers with estimating, tender submissions and comprehensive project documentation for commercial construction projects.

Reporting to the General Manager, the role involves coordinating materials take-offs, cost estimates, bidding processes and maintaining detailed records across all project phases. Immediate start, full-time on-site position in Brandon, MB.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction estimating and tender preparation.
• Exceptional organizational and document management skills with a high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities simultaneously.
• Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid class 5 driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material take-offs and cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
• Participate in bid coordination including invites, subcontractor communication and question management.
• Review project plans, specifications and tender documents to determine project scope and pricing requirements.
• Prepare and submit tender documents and estimate packages for bid opportunities.
• Obtain and evaluate pricing from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Maintain and update project documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, PCNs, change orders, submittals, schedule updates and related records.
• Coordinate project closeout documentation and handovers.
