Job summary

Autism Services in Saskatoon is seeking an entry-level Project Coordinator to support Project Managers and Superintendents by handling day-to-day administrative and logistical work on construction projects. Qualifications

  • 0-2 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or a related administrative role; internships count.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Projects).
  • Comfortable working both in an office setting and visiting active job sites.
  • Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize project documentation, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, contracts, and daily reports.
  • Assist Project Managers with scheduling, budget tracking, and procurement of materials and subcontractor services.
  • Prepare, distribute, and file purchase orders and vendor/subcontractor paperwork.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings; take and distribute meeting minutes; track follow-up action items.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to relay project updates and resolve routine issues.
  • Track project progress against schedule and budget, and flag potential delays or overruns to the Project Manager.
  • Support permit applications, inspection scheduling, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with project billing, invoicing, and closeout documentation.
  • Conduct occasional site visits to support coordination between the office and field teams.

Job Summary
