Job Description

The House of Commons hires co‑op students throughout the year for diverse opportunities across various service areas. These full‑time placements (35 hours per week) typically last about 16 weeks and are available during the 2026–2027 academic year, covering the spring/summer, fall, and winter terms.

Co‑op students can make meaningful contributions across a wide range of fields such as:

  • Administrative support, client service.
  • Accounting, commerce, procurement and contracting.
  • Communications, linguistics, graphic/web design.
  • Architecture, interior design.
  • Engineering, computer science, data science, cybersecurity, information management.
  • Broadcasting, audiovisual support.
  • Compensation, talent management, occupational health and safety, labour relations, project management.
  • Trades, culinary arts.
