Job summary

Elmer’s Manufacturing Ltd. is seeking a Co-op/Student - Field Support Technician in Altona, MB for a 4- or 8-month term. The role mixes field work with shop time, featuring a three-week field tour and possible Western Canada travel.

You will address customer equipment issues, inspect R&D carts, support the Sales Demo Program, assist dealer technician training, and capture customer feedback. A engineering degree/diploma (in progress ok) is required and travel ability is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Diploma in Engineering or Engineering Tech (completed or in progress).
• Willingness to travel up to 3 weeks at a time.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Co-op/Student - Field Support Technician

We have an upcoming opportunity in the Product Support Department as a Field Support Technician.

The core mission of the Field Support Technician is to ensure customer satisfaction in-season. This role is expected to be constantly engaged with customers in field to address any small or large issues after the purchase of their product, provide training if required, and collect feedback whenever possible.

This position will be shared between three staff, using a three-week tour in the field, with time in the shop between rotations. The time between tours will be spent working with the R&D Department, with some possible travel required in Western Canada during that time. Our goal is to have issues resolved within 24 hours.

Availability: 4-month or 8-month term
